    At 1st there was this,
I searched on here for possible solutions.
I fixed the symlink in /etc/pure-ftpd/ipaddress as /var/ftp did not exist.
Now when I login to ftp.customersdomain.com it goes to /var/ftp

All anonymous settings in WHM and cPanel are enabled.

I checked the users ftp config in /etc/proftpd/username
    Here are the contents:
Ive removed the username and password

I think this is an issue with all my cPanel servers.

Well....we have the same problem and guess what...you can keep screaming because pure-ftpd dont support anonymous ftp on a shared ip, it means, it support it but it share the same direcory for all the shared ip based accounts. If you wish each account with its own public_ftp directory then the account must be ip based.

I wish cPanel alert us about these things before put a big warning message saying to switch from proftpd.
