    Hi.

    I disabled anonymous FTP in cPanel, but am still able to log in anonymously. When logged in anonymously, I am able to access the pub file but not upload or download.

    How can I prevent persons from being able to log in anonymously altogether? I understand that the average user can't do much but see the folder, but I want to block access entirely.

    Thanks.

    ::Bump::

    I to have this situation.

    There's an anonymous login for the server where I can't upload or download anything. However it connects. I want to get rid of this connection. Any ideas?

    :mad: Same issue here. - Looked at the pure-ftpd.conf file and all anonymous access seems to be disabled. It is also disabled in WHM, but anonymous users still see the "pub" folder.

    I forgot all about this thread. I just tried again, and it's now rejecting anonymous logins.

    My host has upgraded to cPanel v 11.23.4-RELEASE_26138. Not sure if that helps.
