I have a client that decided to use Anonymous FTP. However, when he put the files in the public_ftp folder, they did not show up in anonymous FTP. I have set the shared IP to 64.xxx.xxx.74, but however, WHM didn't like creating accounts under that IP to share with other accounts, only the main server IP.

Now, a client on the shared IP, 64.xxx.xxx..74, wants anonymous FTP access. I have taken a look into his account - when you connect to Anonymous FTP, this is shown:

Connected to (ftp.drone-alliance.org) -& IP: 64.xxx.xxx.70 PORT: 21.
Socket connected waiting for login sequence.
220-=(&*&)=-.:. (( Welcome to PureFTPd 1.0.12 )) .:.-=(&*&)=-
220-You are user number 1 of 50 allowed.
220-Local time is now 22:23 and the load is 0.24. Server port: 21.

Now, the IP shown is the main server IP, and as a result, there is absolutely nothing there. Since I use pureftpd, I took a look in /etc/pure-ftpd. There, I saw directories for each of the IPs. There was nothing in any of them, except for the incoming directory.

I'm puzzled at this. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks.
