    Hi,
    I'm trying to use anonymous FTP on IP-based site.
    Im logging in using:
    host: ftp.$domain.com
    user: anonymous@$domain.com
    password: $anypasswordshouldwork

    I can't login using these datails. Anonymous FTP is enabled in WHM, I'm using proftpd, and the domain is added as Virtual Host in proftpd.conf.

    Any ideas why is it not working?
    Thank you.

    my proftpd.conf file:

    <VirtualHost XX.XX.XXX.XXX>
    ExtendedLog /etc/httpd/domlogs/ftp.$mydomain.com-ftpbytes_log READ BytesLog
    TransferLog /etc/httpd/domlogs/ftp.$mydomain.com-ftp_log
    ServerName ftp.$mydomain.com
    AuthUserFile /etc/proftpd/$user
    MaxClients 5 "Sorry, this ftp server has reached its maximum user count (%m). Please try again later"
