I am at a loss here.. I have just installed the buildapache update and I did a reboot of the server and when I login to WHM to check 'Service Satus' Apache, Exim, and Webmail have failed.

I have gone through the errror logs and it does not mention anything about either one of the programs.

When in WHM if I go to &Restart Exim& it will reload and then says 'exim started ok '

So I then go back to 'Service Status' and now Apache, Exim, and Webmail are listed as up and running, but now Interchange has failed. So I go and restart Internetchange, the page loads that is supposed to display if Interchange started, but no info is displayed.

So once again I go back to check 'Service Status' Interchange is still listed as Failed.

If I reboot the server again, Apache and Exim are listed as 'Failed' So now I go to restart Apache through WHM and it says &httpd started ok' but no status message, I check 'Service States' it is listed as Failed. If I restart Exim, it says'Exim started ok' again still listed as Failed.

    I am running
    Red Hat Linux 7.3
With all software/kernals/misc. updated to latest version

Anyone have any clue on what may be the issue here?

    Extra side note..

    [root@capital tim]# /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl stop
    /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl stop: httpd stopped
    [root@capital tim]# /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl startssl
    /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl startssl: httpd started
    [root@capital tim]# /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl stop
    /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl stop: httpd stopped
    [root@capital tim]# /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start
    /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start: httpd started

It seems to run, but I don't know if correctly.

the WHM status monitor takes like 10 minutes or so to update. When you reboot some services will show as being down. This is normal. Check your service monitor again after about 10 min.

I have since fixed this issue... The update of Apache didn't take right so I needed to modify some variables and all is well.
