Yup sorry another one of those IP Check threads..mine is a strange one thought some 90% of my visitors are able to visit the site however 10% cannot
im hosted with OVH / Kimsufi Servers
Im Running cpanel each morning I am getting this email - its driving me nuts!
I have posted my Actual IP and Domain Info so it makes sense! this is what i get
[ipcheck] Problem with DNS setup on box.smwebserver.info
IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
Your hostname (box.smwebserver.info) could not be resolved to an IP
address. This means that /etc/hosts is not set up correctly, and/or
there is no dns entry for box.smwebserver.info. Please be sure that
the contents of /etc/hosts are configured correctly, and also that
there is a correct 'A' entry for the domain in the zone file.
Some or all of these problems can be caused by /etc/resolv.conf
being setup incorrectly. Please check that file if you believe
everything else is correct.
You may be able to automatically correct this problem by using the
'Add an A entry for your hostname' option under 'Dns Functions' in
your Web Host Manager.

Resolver file read: /etc/resolv.conf
search smwebserver.info
domain smwebserver.info
nameserver 176.31.242.202
nameserver 178.32.51.12
my main IP is
176.31.242.202
and I purchased another IP for nameservers which is
178.32.51.12
my domain name is smwebserver.info
Could anyone tell me what do i need to do to stop these meails - since i migrated like very small percentage of people are unable to access my site!
and I cant even access it via my Orange Internet on my Mobile Phone but it works fine on Home and Work PC
any ideas please?
wonder if someone can post a sample of their hosts and resolver.conf file so i can take a look
