Is is possible to set up a custom email fitler for the entire server? We have some pretty heavy spammers who send from different IPs each time, but it is the same body content, more or less. I would like to set up a server wide filter to look for such body content and then trash it at the server. Possible?

You can place custom filters in your /etc/antivirus.exim, using the same syntax as used in /etc/vfilters/*

Be carefull, by default, this file will be overwritten by upcp on a regular basis.

Bayesian filtering would be the appropriate way to go.
Once your corpus build up, the headaches are less.
Doing it otherwise could be a big headache when spammers can write (and they do) a word in different formats....

    the list could endless.

I switched to Mailscanner/clamAV solution discussed in these forums (chirpy offers a good service) and have seen great reductions.

We'ev got this as well, but it does not contain a server-wide custom email fitler.

    yes it sure does

you just have to configure the master mailscanner settings and it will take effect server wide

if you use chirpys paid install which is a bargain for what you get there is a mailscanner config button at the bottom of your whm that will give you a gui config interface
