We are on EnsimPro and have been using using MailScanner with ClamAV and SpamAssasin.

We have recently made a decision to move on WHM/CPanel, and took a fresh Server loaded with WHM/CPanel. Before setup, we thought of checking the forums and found that there is no ClamAV here.

We've got a CPanel with WHM 10.1.0 and cPanel 10.2.0-R82

We need to know how we can setup Anti-Virus scanning, and also an effective Anti-SPAM.

Our EnsimPro server was able to serve Anti-SPAM and Anti-Virus with a performance level only in the range of 60-70%.

We have seen services like SpamStopsHere and find that they are able to achieve over 98% performance on Anti-SPAM and Anti-Virus. How can we configure something like that on our servers.

In short, how to have a successful Anti-SPAM and Anti-Virus server.

Some thoughtful feedback needed, other than just plain replies from people who only want to become gurus/moderators by increasing their number of posts.

    :D

    Cheers !!

    Thanks Jon,

We have used MailScanner on EnsimPro to block major attachments, although we used to wonder why it exists alongwith ClamAV.

Do we have something in place of MailScanner on WHM/CPanel.

    Cheers !!

    Jon,
most effective thing is to use Chirpy's mailscanner script
