Any documentation on Cpanel only DNS?

I am wondering if anyone knows a location of some documentation on Cpanel only DNS? I have looked all over cpanel.net and the documentation I did find didn't help

I downloaded and ran the installed and it seems to be installed and I also checked my resolve.conf file but it I can't seem to access the hash so i don't think its setup. (I also ran the install script and no errors)

when I try to recover the hash I get
Access Denied

The server was configured to not permit you access to the specified resource. If you believe this is in error or inadvertent, please contact the
system administrator and ask them to update the host access files.
