We have normal DDOS attack protection and hardened CSF all the options we could find to help but this customer is getting 1000's of 404 error pages loaded constantly.

    Any ideas?

I just added the (D)DoS Mitigator by admin ahead to see if that will help.

There is an option for blocking on 404s in CSF, LF_APACHE_404, have you set this to permanently block the IP(s)? That said, if this is an actual DDoS attack, that option probably won't help much.

Thanks, yea I have it set to the most strict option, 60. And it doesn't help. I wish I could set it to 2 for now lol. It's O.k. we are going to add fail2ban and WAF next to see if that helps. Thanks again!
