Any News on the new backup feature?

    Are we still expecting Mid May? I heard it was going to be pushed to edge early April, did that happen?

    Howdy,

    This is still on track for April but it will be after 11.36.1 goes to stable (slated for April 22nd at this time). After that it will be all eyes on 11.37 in to edge.

    The 11.38 development release is now available to the EDGE tier.

    Nice to see retention policy getting added but I have a few questions about new backup Backup

    The documentation for 11.38 doesn't say whether its possible to configure the time of day the backup job itself should run

    Will that be possible via the UI or by editing a config file somewhere to set the backup start time?
    Will the new backup feature delete older retained backups if space is low on the backup destination?

    The backup feature will going to be very important and helpful for me as I have to travel a lot in my job so its going to become easy for me. :)
