First of all cpanel is great, I refuse to learn any other control panels because of their inferiority.
My question is what about a bare bones version for dedicated one owner server servers that don't need a separate control panel per domain and don't need much to tweak with.
I'm thinking the same design with everything in one panel, take out some of the features that are less used and sell it for about $400 a shot with no updates unless they want to buy the next version.
I think you would open up to another huge market and us hosting companies would really be happy.
