Any third-party apps that we can use to interface with cPanel/Roundcube

We have a client using cPanel/Roundcube in an educational environment for internal student email. Right now one person is having to log into cPanel to manage password resets, student additions/deletions, etc. We would like to be able to add another layer of administration so that this one person could manage teacher accounts, and those teachers could manage their own students' passwords, etc.

Are there any third-party applications out there that perform this function? We are even open to writing our own system if there are APIs available in Roundcube/cPanel to allow for this.

    Anyone know?

Hmm yes that is very close. We would prefer to let each each teacher edit only their own students' email accounts, but we could live with the alternative if we had to.

Are there no APIs for Roundcube that we could tap into and write an external app ourselves? ConfigServer has a WHM Mail Manage plugin that does something similar - we just want to write one that's completely external to WHM/cPanel with an extra level or two of administrative permissions.

None that I'm aware of for Roundcube, no.
