Has anybody ever tried running cpanel with a full install of cygwin on windows ?

And yea I know this is a oddball stupid question and yes I do have mutli RH servers running cpanel

but I use the cygwin to do rsync backups of the complete server drives and this thought just crossed my mind

Sorry to hijack your thread, but it was getting stale so maybe the bump will help you

I need to setup one cpanel server as an rsync server for another cpanel server so that we can mirror some files when the get updated on the rsync daemon server.

1. Is rsync already installed on cpanel machines that can be run as a daemon?
