Hi, I have a reseller account on a VServer and I have a question:

I was wondering if anyone had a script I can setup as a cron job that works like the "Generate/Download a Full Backup" in cPanel but recursively backs up ALL the accounts under the /home/ directory into individual .tar.gz files just like the standard backup and then FTP's them to a preset FTP server?

I find it's taking me forever to log into each account's cPanel fill out the fields and FTP out full backups one at the time.

I would also like the option (another script & cron job) to backup my entire reseller account and ALL the accounts in /home/ into a single large .tar.gz and have the FTP'd then deleted upon FTP success, in case of HD failure.

    Can anyone please help?

    Thank you in advance.

    Stefan.

    backup script

Well, here's a post regarding the script I'm using, but it doesn't work quite yet. Actually, it worked on an old host, but for some reason doesn't work on my new host.

Anyway, here's the basics of the script I use.
