    Apache 2.2.9 was just released.

Will it get 2.2.8 or 2.2.9 if I do apache update via WHM?

There is an easy way to find out

Click the button and see what gets installed. I'm not sure otherwise.

cPanel never lists full Apache version, only PHP

    Correct.

At this time, we only support Apache 2.2.8. Once Apache 2.2.9 is supported, you will see an update entry for EasyApache on http://changelog.cpanel.net

Apache 2.2.9 has been packaged up for EasyApache 3 and all of the cPanel patches have been reviewed. Since there are so many changes to mod_proxy we'll need to do thorough testing and make certain it doesn't break the Proxy VirtualHost feature in any way.

    Code:
    /scripts/easyapache --latest-versions

The above command will show you which versions or Apache and PHP are available for install via EasyApache 3.

Nevermind, it's 4289, thanks for your work.

    Recompiled, no issues so far.
