When someone creats an add-on domain from an existing domain, it will create in the httpd.conf

    ServerAlias www.newdomain.originaldomain.com
    ServerName newdomain.originaldomain.com

Is there anyway to change that so it has nothing to do with the original domain? I want the script to just treat it like it's a new virtualhost entry and to only display 'www.newdomain' and not 'originaldomain.com'

Let me know if this doesn't make sense.

thats how cpanel works it uses cpanel subdomain feature to add an add on domain without it the there would be no add on domain in the users cpanel

it can be done but it would have to enter everthing manually in httpd.conf

I'm wondering the same thing. This is especially confusing with email setup.

Could you tell us what needs to be modified in httpd.conf?

    Thanks!
