I have been working on getting bugzilla installed all day now. It seems like apache wont execute the script property.

I am getting the following; Premature end of script headers: /home/digitals/public_html/bugzilla/index.cgi

if execute this script from the shell it works just fine! I have everything from the bugzilla install located in the httpd.conf and i restarted apache and bugzilla has been configured.

Have any of you been able to install bugzilla on a system with cpanel?

If so what steps did you need to take to get it to work?

I got it working with no trouble.

check permissions on the bugzilla directory and index.cgi.

If that's not it, what is the error in your erro log? (cPanel > stats > error log)

simply as i posted before: [Mon Apr 19 00:12:14 2004] [error] [client 24.197.180.190] Premature end of script headers: /home/digitals/public_html/bugzilla/index.cgi

I have no idea what is causing this. I have tried changing permissions, it doesn't work. The odd thing is if I run it from nobody in the shell the output is correct... if i change the permissions to run as the user it works from the shell. it seems to be an apache related issue but i have the directory permissions setup correctly in there. It is very odd.

One idea...if you have SuEXEC enabled, then you should make sure that this directory:

    /home/digitals/public_html/bugzilla

    is CHMOD 755.
