    Hi,

Apache seemed to have gone down on my server when I edited a domain name on an account I had... can't get it back up. Need some advice!

Take a look at the logs, see what errors its giving you, or, if you're in ssh, restart it from there, and it should tell you the error.

    service httpd restart

Thanks! That worked - Heh! That should have been the first thing I should have done (I panicked), instead I was trying to restart it via WHM!

Also I think I posted this in the wrong place!

Though will this happen again if I change an accounts domain name?

Oh geez it's down again and this time apache won't restart, getting this error:

httpd has failed, please contact the sysadmin.

    Hi Chris,

Managed to reboot it after a couple minutes and downgraded WHM to the latest stable version! (This must have clearly been the problem!)

    Thanks for the help brother!

Note, this program is likely to resurrect itself once 11.23 propagates to STABLE. I would recommend you try to have the issue resolved rather than prolonging the issue. Feel welcome to have one of our technical analysts take a look at this for you: http://tickets.cpanel.net/submit
