When i try to restart it through ssh as the root user i get this problem:

Syntax error on line 1083 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Invalid command 'BytesLog', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
/etc/init.d/httpd start: httpd could not be started

This all happened when i used the WHM feature to rebuild apache with php5 :-/

And i was hoping to install ruby and rails :-/

    Anyone help plz?

And if i ask my host... they will charge me $25/20 minutes!!!

Check if you have the following two lines in /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf uncommented.

    LoadModule bytes_log_module libexec/mod_log_bytes.so

    and

    AddModule mod_log_bytes.c

If you have them then BytesLog directive should work.
