I just got this server running about 6hrs ago. Somehow now apache is not working upated cpanel. Right now im running WHM 9.9.9 cPanel 9.9.9-R70.

When i start httpd its saying
    ---
    httpd status
httpd has failed, please contact the sysadmin.
    ---

    But then i do a
    ---
    /etc/init.d/httpd configtest
    Syntax OK
    ---

as you can see configtest is not outputting a error.

is there a logfile i can look at to see whats going on?

    Also i retried recompiling apache.

try to restart apache, then tail /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log and paste it here.
