I've updated my apache today the 31st via easyapache, then downloaded latest from layer1, and reinstalled it over my current cpanel. Now whenever I create a new account it would shut down my apache and my apache will not start, anyone know why?

I'm using Redhat 7.3, and I noticed some errors during the creation of my account.

Here's my account creation log:

ssh into your server if you can and restart httpd... watch the errors and then you should know more.

It says there's an error in line 1129 in my httpd.conf file, I go there and I have no idea how to fix it. It reads:

<VirtualHost 69.22.169.75>
ServerAlias www.rantage.com rantage.com
ServerAdmin [email protected]
DocumentRoot /home/rantage/public_html
BytesLog domlogs/rantage.com-bytes_log (line 1129)
User rantage
Group rantage
ServerName www.rantage.com
CustomLog domlogs/rantage.com combined
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /home/rantage/public_html/cgi-bin/
</VirtualHost>

Please help me?

thanks in advance!

Try running this from root in SSH

/scripts/rebuildhttpdconf

or and

/scripts/rebuildhttpdconffromproftpd

but first and as always make a backup of your httpd.conf

at

/usr/local/apache/conf

cp httpd.conf httpd_31may.conf

herm... i've made a rollback for all my config files so I can config my server from scratch. But now, whenever i create an account, it gives the message:

Missing HOST Config Line in /etc/wwwacct.conf

Account Creation Complete!!!

Thanks again

Go into Edit Setup and go to:

Home Directory Prefix:

Make it say: home

EDIT: Woops, didn't see this was months ago hehe
