cPanel doesn't seem to be updating any of their software, it's very unprofessional for them and hosting companies... OpenSSH, MySQL, PHP... now Apache.

    What's wrong? Updates are good!!!

    Go on, have a guess
Apache v1.3.34 has been available when you rebuild for a few days now.

Incidentally, openssh is nothing whatsoever to do with cPanel and everything to do with the version your OS vendor provides.

Also, in general, updates are not good on production servers where stability is paramount. That's the whole point of enterprise OS's and applications, that they do not change unless absolutely necessary (e.g. for security issues).

Take a look at changlog of php 5.0.5, what do you see? How about thing that apache 1.3.34 is out two days after release, and php 5.0.5 is not 6 weeks after release!?
