I have a VPS with Fedora Core 2 OS and did a cPanel installation on it, however after installation, apache is failing everytime. I have run /scripts/easyapache and choose option 8 but with no luck. I have also noticed that GCC compiler is not installed. Can somebody explain me how to fix it and how to install the GCC compiler?

    Thank you.

Can you update the cpanel forcefully.... /scripts/upcp --force

Try to easyapache after that update... If failed paste the error that you are getting.

    Go on, have a guess
If gcc isn't installed, the cPanel installation definitely won't work.

You need to ensure that yum is working with valid mirrors for FC2 first. Then install gcc using yum and then rerun the cPanel installation from the beginning.
