Hi,

Regarding the Apache mod_cpanel module (Introducing mod_cpanel | cPanel Blog) :

1. Are you all using it? Do you really see any performance improvement?

2. Any configuration is needed to enable/customize it after adding in via EasyApache? I see it is loaded by checking 'apachectl -M'.

3. How do we check if it is really working? Any tool/command that we can verify?

Thank you!

Hello!

This Apache module replaced an old cPanel feature known as "Optimize .htaccess" In short, the Mod_cpanel module serves as a minor speed booster. It allows apache to skip checking directory paths for htaccess files that it has already checked. You don't need to do anything specifically to make it work. In regards to verifying if it works, you could use any free site-speed tester; otherwise, I am not sure.
