While restarting apache i am getting this error

Invalid command 'Alias', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

There are more than one Apache setting that could involve the work "alias". The most common one in a shared hosting environment would be "ServerAlias".

The error message should state in which line of your httpd.conf the invalid entry is. If you post that line here, and perhaps a few lines above and below that, I am sure somebody will be able to give you an answer ;)

    Run /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl configtest
This will give you the error message on which line. Check the line which is needing the ServerAlias directive.

    Hope that helps.
