Apache Recompile problem

    Hi,

    After recompiling apache, when i try to restart apache it gives me this error:--

    -----------------------------------------
    Failed to register functions
    /etc/init.d/httpd: line 83: 13193 Segmentation fault (core dumped) $HTTPD -DSSL
    /etc/init.d/httpd start: httpd could not be started
    ------------------------------------------

    Are you using a VPS environment like a Virtuozzo or Xen.

    Hi,

    I am on centos. It happened when i updated my panel to release and re-compiled apache. after this the error came up. I went back to stable release and re-compiled again and it got resolved.
