Apache Security issue, A hacker have access to my server!!

    One of my French customer sent a message indicating to me that a
    hacker succeeded in being introduced into my server like root
    because of a fault in apache. It appears that there is a patch. But
    where!!

    Cpanel does not even support the new version of apache!!

    Thus all our servers are in danger!!

    Welcome to the internet :) Risk is involved... as one of my old security friends said .. if you want a secure box, unplug it.

    Watch for upgrades, make sure you have upgraded Apache recently to get any ssl patches etc. Also check the scripts on that customer's site for what they may have, some php scripts etc. have HUGE holes in them which can allow root exploits.
