Wow what a week getting all of our new servers going. We have one though that just doesn't want to cooperate at this point. No matter how I compile Apache it will not come back online, just keeps giving segmentation fault (11) in the logs.

I replaced the ram in the box this morning and that did nothing to solve the issue. These are brand new Dell boxes that are supposedly pretested and Apache is the ONLY application having an issue at all.

Found the issue thanks to Kyle. Our mod_sec module had gotten corrupted some how.

    Go on, have a guess
I recently had a problem with mod_security v1.9 doing exactly that. It took me an age to figure out what was causing the seg faults. I put back the 1.8.7 module and it worked fine. Haven't tried compiling 1.9 again on the server in questions again.

I've installed 1.9 without problem on dozens of servers, just this one had an issue.
