last night apache went apparently offline, since I couldn't reach any page on the server.
All the other services were available.

So I restarted Apache in the WHM, and it was fixed.

BUT, while checking the errorlog for apache, I noticed that there are tons of entries for the time I wasn't able to reach the hosted pages. (not more than usually, though)

So apache was not offline? what was it then?
