    Hello,

I have a problem with my server, sometimes web pages are unavailable for 1-2-3 minutes not to much and the command 'service httpd status' does not return anything but after that when the website come back alive the command returns. Notice than when httpd looks to be down, FTP/SSH/cPanel and WHM are fully working, can operate them perfectly.

I appreciate any help to solve this issue.

    Thanks !

you need to check your logs for errors

    /usr/local/apache/logs

I can't really check for suspicios errors because error_log file is full of "file does not exist" errors and i don't found a way to stop logging file not found errors.

I found some logs, i think there is the moment when websites (i have 3 websites hosted on this server) were unavailable but cpanel/whm are working.

I have censored the ip addresses of server and clients.

I realized that server is going to be restarted , but the question is why ?

EDIT: I searched a little bit on the internet and saw that the problem can be caused by maxclients/server limit settings, currently i have maxclients: 150 and server limit: 250 - when i use 'service httpd status' i see that rarely grows upper than 250 requests currently being processed. Can be this the issue ?
