    Hello there,

I followed this secure tmp http://www.eth0.us/tmp guide here and apache is now starting then stopping.

    root@kathrine [~]# /etc/init.d/httpd restart
/etc/init.d/httpd restart: httpd not running, trying to start
    /etc/init.d/httpd restart: httpd started
    root@kathrine [~]# /etc/init.d/httpd restart
/etc/init.d/httpd restart: httpd not running, trying to start
    /etc/init.d/httpd restart: httpd started
    root@kathrine [~]# /etc/init.d/httpd restart
/etc/init.d/httpd restart: httpd not running, trying to start
    /etc/init.d/httpd restart: httpd started

I do not know why this is happening and it still persists after I reverse what I did in the tutorial.

    Can anybody help please?

    Thanks,
    Mini

have a look at your apache error_log [/etc/httpd/logs/error_log] it might give u some clues why its failing...

Nope, not at all.. The thing isn't even logged for some reason, because the log cuts off on Friday (today is Saturday).

    Thanks,
    Mini
