    Hi all,

I need to update my Apache configuration through WHM to enable GD support. Are there any files I need to backup prior to executing this through the WHM GUI, or does WHM handle this automatically?

All you should need to backup are the httpd.conf and php.ini files. User accounts shouldn't be touched in any case with apache updates, and I never had any problems with Apache/PHP recompile.
