Apache using a non standard port?

    The standard port for apache is 80. But my question is will cPanel operate normally if a web server were to run off of port 8080. If it can what would be some modifications to make this possible. Thank you

    I dont know how to do this but 8080 is a proxy port. Try to run it off another port.

    Well Port 80 wont work and everytime i loginto WHM it says Your server may be down or unreachable, because it checks prot 80
