Apache won't start on my cpanel box, but there are no errors either.

/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl configtest gives me "Syntax OK"
./apachectl/start gives me "httpd started", but it doesn't start
./apachectl/restart gives me "httpd not running, trying to start" then "httpd started"

There are no related errors in error_log.

I rebuilt Apache (originally 1.3.33) using several configurations, including the default #1, using easyapache, but that didn't help.

    Any ideas?
