I purchased a server not long ago and it was set up last night. My problem is that Apache will not run, and I don't know how to find the logs to tell me what is going wrong.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    hello,
apache logs are located at /usr/local/apache/logs/

you might wanna open two ssh client session and in one of them do tail -f /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log

on the other one try to restart the apache with /etc/init.d/httpd sslstart

    watch the log for error.
