    is there any plans to implement apache2 into cpanel anytime soon? i would really like to see it, especially for the ipv6 support

    As mentioned in previous threads, search apache2, PHP and Apache 2 aren't fully compatible yet causing some problems. Cpanel can't release Apache 2 yet until those have been worked out by the other companies... so it has nothing to do with Cpanel at this time.

    OK so taking that would it work ok if you don't include php or does cpanel itself use php?

    That used to be true, they work fine togeather and have for quite awhile now.
