apache_php_fpm keeps going down and restarting

For the last 48hrs i keep getting emails from checkservd: The service “apache_php_fpm” appears to be down. 5 minutes later it will magically restart. I just know twitchy users will be calling me monday.

THe email contains the following info
(XID s3mmn3) The “Apache PHP-FPM 81” service is down.
The subprocess “/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/restartsrv_apache_php_fpm” reported error number 29 when it ended.

I had read a thread on here about corrupt php-fpmd conf files which i went thru but this hasnt resolved the issue and I cant find anything about error 29.

Where should i start looking to resolve this?

Hey there! The first place I would check would be the main Apache error log (/etc/apache2/logs/error_log) to see if there is anything odd happening directly with Apache on the system.
