API 1 Ftp :: passwdftp doesn't work

    I keep having the error message : "Account does not exist." while changing the FTP password with XML API.

    I can create and change quota for a selected account but I can't change the password.

    OK I found the problem, the "@domain name" must be stripped off.

    I'm glad you were able to resolve your issue, another thing I thought I should mention is that you are using the old style xmlin= format for the xmlapi. While this will continue to work for an indefinite period of time, at some point this will go away.

    The recommended way of making cpanel calls is by using url arguments:

    /xml-api/cpanel?cpanel_xmlapi_apiversion=1&cpanel_xmlapi_module=Ftp&cpanel_xmlapi_func=passwdftp&arg-0=$acct&arg-1=$password
