    Hi there,

I'm developing something based around the XML API using API2, and I'd like to be able to test if a password is at least minimum strength for a given app, such as FTP. However, I have not yet found a way to do this. I am a regular cPanel user, not root or reseller.

Is there a such way to test a password's strength?

    Thank you,

    Hi Kaz,

There's no password strength API call, unfortunately. I recall answering a similar question a while back...here. You cPanel account should have no problem accessing that. I think as long as you request that cgi script with the proper auth headers (just like your API2 requests) then Apache/cpsrvd will route and response to your request.
