Are licenses transferable?

When I change servers ie upgrade etc can I transfer my licence to the new server.

Generally speaking "NO" but that also depends on whether you got your current
license from your provider or from Cpanel directly.

What do you mean "no" ?

If you buy a license, its yours... you can move it from machine to machine all you want, it just requires updating the license file and such so that the licensing mechanism associates the license with the new IP address...

Having said that, if you lease a license... dunno.
