Are Mail Filtering Rules possible for the Root mail account?

When users have auto-responders enabled, and they respond to an undeliverable email account, it bounces back to [email protected]... those messages are then sent to [email protected].

I'd like to set up some filters like regular users can do in cPanel. Assuming I can figure out the syntax, is there a place I could put this? Normally account filters are in /etc/vfilters/ -- can I make one for server.tld and put it here?

Email for "root" is forwarded, so you would setup the filter for the email account that is used for mail forwarded from "root".

Thanks, Michael -- that was the answer I was looking for. The mail is currently not forwarded to a cPanel-based mail account, so will have to come up with another plan. I have some ideas.
