Are Mail Filtering Rules possible for the Root mail account?

When users have auto-responders enabled, and they respond to an undeliverable email account, it bounces back to [email protected]... those messages are then sent to [email protected].

I'd like to set up some filters like regular users can do in cPanel. Assuming I can figure out the syntax, is there a place I could put this? Normally account filters are in /etc/vfilters/ -- can I make one for server.tld and put it here?

Hello :)

Email for "root" is forwarded, so you would setup the filter for the email account that is used for mail forwarded from "root".

Thank you.

Thanks, Michael -- that was the answer I was looking for. The mail is currently not forwarded to a cPanel-based mail account, so will have to come up with another plan. I have some ideas. :)
