I had a customer create a local mailbox and also keep the forward to yahoo.com account.

Do you guys know if there's an exim or exiqgrep command I can run to "resend" the messages in the queue waiting for yahoo so they can also be delivered to the local mailbox?

Thanks,
Chuck

Well after doing some research i landed here

I got over 4,000 emails in que

All yahoo.com emails waiting to be delivered.

I runn a dating site so most the emails are ( Confirmation ) emails.

This is even a slight loss of money as we do not allow non confirmed emails on the site. So this is of coarse a small drop on subscriptions as we are not allowing non confirmed users aboard. They get added to the awaiting confirmation list, and get deleted after 7 days if they did not confirm.

Is there a tweak for exim perhaps?

Is it only exim or is other email servers being effected here?

Please excuse my ignorance but how would I do as is suggested. COnfigure exim to automaticly attempt a retry on 451 errors?

Where would I specify this?

Anyone got a tweak for exim yet?

I got a lot of emails in que * Pulls hair out * lol

I believe Yahoo has resolved this or atleast greatly improved this. If you are receiving this error, I would check to make sure that you are not sending a lot of e-mail to Yahoo addresses all at once.

We solve this problem changing the current PTR record and DNS reverse settings.
I ask the NOC to made the chages for me.
I found some problems in domains DNS, check the DNS ZONE EDIT, to see if it is everything right.
After the changes, yahoo and a some other domains, stop to give an error 451.
I hope it helps!

Ok all of cpanel team still not respond for a buggy exim version :

The only solution i found is :

Workaround: set address_retry_include_sender = false in remote_smtp transport

But still why there is no version without bug ??
