Package names that begin with username_ can only be seen by that username. Just call your package root_packagename and only root will be able to see it.
Mine wont hide the packages.
Logged in as the root user in whm and created a package called root_test and all the resellers can see that package when they add an account in their whm.
Can anyone tell me why???

Go to Reseller Center. Choose the reseller and "edit Privileges/Nameservers". Down below you will find an option "Disallow creation of accounts with packages that are not global or not owned by this user". Check if the option is enbaled or disabled. If it is enabled then disable it and save the settings. Hope this helps.
