I have registered two IP addresses with my domain registrar and appointed two host names to serve as globally-recognized nameservers. While the registration has successfully disseminated, I am having difficulty associating the names I selected with the appropriate IP addresses. I have attempted the "Manage Nameservers IPs" option in WHM, but this only informs me that the IP I attempt to assign is already in --- ironically, on the same name for which I am attempting to add a record (albeit the WHM does not *display* the given host as associated with the IP). Is there any way in which I can override this precuation (either via WHM or a typical shell procedure)? I ask because whenever I attempt to create sites, DNS records are provided with bogus DNS IPs.
