Attachments in Exim

    A user received an error for a blocked attachment:

    2008-02-01 10:12:34 [9549] 1JL0NN-0002Tk-BU cancelled by system filter: This message has been rejected because it has\na potentially executable attachment "Re.com\nThis form of attachment has been used by\nrecent viruses or other malware.\nIf you meant to send this file then please\npackage it up as a zip file and resend it.


    The attachment was an .xls file, but this is not present in either /etc/antivirus.conf or /etc/cpanel_exim_system_filter .... where are the definitions for blocked attachments so a singe extension can be removed from the list?

    Root Administrator
    No custom modification to your Exim config?

    If not, try routing the message through Exim manually to see where Exim is pulling that from.
