    Howdy,

In 11.32.0.1 there may be an issue in situations where smtpmailgidonly and SMTP_BLOCK are both on that may prevent the server from sending outbound messages.

Server administrators looking to update to 11.32 that wish to keep the SMTP_BLOCK feature on should wait for the next release of cPanel.

Any server administrators that are unable to send outbound mail and believe this is the cause should be able to resume mail by restarting the csf service.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the heads up.
I imagine RELEASE will coincide with the fix to this issue?

This. Also, can we expect RELEASE sometime next week?

Right now, we do not have a time estimate for when RELEASE will reach 11.32.

    Howdy,

We should have a fix published early next week to correct this.

    Thanks!

What does the SMTP_BLOCK serve for?

    Hello albatroz,

While what CSF's SMTP_BLOCK does would be tangential to this current thread, you can read details at this location:

csf SMTP_BLOCK option | Server Buddies

It basically provided tighter security for preventing scripts on the machine sending using SMTP via a socket connection.

    Thanks!
