Really great news and a relief to hear that our concerns actually were taken into consideration. Thank you cPanel!
Nick,Our plan is to present you with a new Setup Wizard screen in the WHM upon the first visit after an upgrade. You'll have an opportunity to learn about each new feature along with a clear and simple choice to enable it. Once you've made your decision, the Setup Wizard won't alert you about these new features again. You'll also have the option of skipping the Setup Wizard for the time being so that you can return to it once you're more prepared to make a decision.
You can see Attracta under the 'Additional Software' section of WHM's left menu. The link is Attracta™ SEO Reseller Tools. You'll need to be running cPanel/WHM 11.32.4.8 or newer (only EDGE right now) to see the link.Where in WHM are we supposed to find Attracta? I can't see it anywhere
I' running WHM 11.32.4 (build 14) And Attracta is nowhere to be found. I do see Attracta icons in the branding manager, but it does not show up in client cpanel or root whm. /usr/local/cpanel/bin/manage_features enable attracta
Thank you! Might as well add that the below command will disable Attracta.Currently, you'll have to enable Attracta on the command line with the following command:
Code:/usr/local/cpanel/bin/manage_features enable attracta
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/manage_features disable attracta
Is Attracta available for all WHM users now? I cannot see the "additional software" link in the left WHM menu.
wget -N http://www.attracta.com/static/download/Attracta-SEO-cPanel-Stable.sea
chmod +x Attracta-SEO-cPanel-Stable.sea
./Attracta-SEO-cPanel-Stable.sea
Why would you enable this by default?
This type of **** really pisses me off.

Seriously, every release I shouldn't be worried about having to uninstall, delete, and clean up after garbage software that I didn't ask for or give permission to have implemented.
Eric,Guys, we have done several deals with Attracta and our last two Platinum ($2500) deals are falling flat on their face. No support, no follow-up, nothing.. After 45 days on our newest deal with them, we're requesting a refund per their terms for our last Platinum deal and will no longer white-label their services. If you want to alienate a client, Attracta seems to be a good start. We could sell these SEO deals all day but, they seem to have oversold the company, and their ability to deliver based on their contractual terms.
