I have noticed that the autodiscover automatically does 2 actions:

Assumption:
Customer = domain.suffix
Server = shared.hoster.suffix

Results:
1) The autodiscover feature sets the incoming/outgoing email server hostnames as "mail.domain.suffix"

2) SSL is enabled for both incoming/outgoing connections.

This present us with a conflicting set of results as the server's hostname's SSL certificate will prompt an error indicating "Target Principal Name is Incorrect".

Is there anyway to modify the autodiscover rules to give the following results:

1) Set the incoming/outgoing email server hostname as "shared.hoster.suffix" so that the SSL certificate error prompt will not appear?

If you install a signed ssl certificate in the Service Manager the autodiscover system will detect it and give out the domain on the certificate.
