Hi. Would anyone know where to get documentation on how to add my script to Cpanel, so that hosting customers can install it with just one click (just like the addon scripts that are included with cPanel like PHPBB, etc.).

    Thanks.

There isn't any documentation that I'm aware of, you have to go and look in the cPanel base as to how it's done. You could also look at how it's done by www.openinstaller.com

Hi. Thanks for pointing me to the openinstaller site. Is it possible to get my script included as part of cPanel? I mean that PHPBB is included, along with some other scripts. A simple click of the Bulletin Board icon installs it. You don't even need fantastico for it.

    Thanks.

It would most likely need to be a GPL released product that has been stable for some time for cPanel to consider it. You'd need to log a bugzilla enhancement request. Alternatively, you could lobby the openinstaller developers but they would probably have similar inclusion criteria.

I also seemed to remember hearing about other auto installers similar to Fantastico. Is there another popular auto-installer (besides Fantastico and OpenInstaller)?

    Thanks.
